Appointed Safety Advisor (ASA) Scheme
By joining the scheme Fletcher Associates become your health and safety department and undertake the following duties:
- Become your “competent person” as required under the Management of Health and Safety Regulations 1999
- Produce your companies H&S management system
- Produce and maintain your companies H&S policies and procedures
- Undertake in conjunction with the company’s management the risk assessments required under the law
- Assist in the production of the companies safe systems of work
- Liaise on your behalf with the enforcing authorities
- Set up and maintain an approved contractors list for your maintenance requirements
- Produce and audit the companies maintenance register
- Undertake basic occupational health surveillance
